Description

This heavy Japanese vintage indigo sashiko kimono will look great whether you're wearing it for fall or spring. It is made from kendo clothing fabric and indigo dyed. You can stay elegant in your everyday wear with this fall jacket top. This oversized unisex kimono will provide the ultimate in comfort while also delivering a stunning look. This daywear is unisex and can be easily worn by both men and women, and you can enjoy the comfort brought to your skin by hand-made plant dyeing.
Plant dyeing can deepen the color through repeated dyeing, continuous superposition and dip-dying to obtain dense and deep indigo. Chemical dyeing cannot produce such a deep blue, which is part of its charm.

Fabric: 550g kendo sashiko cloth
Thread body: Nissan Coats thread
Process: Plant indigo dyeing/garment enzyme washing

*This product is indigo blue dyed by natural plants. After several artificial dip dyeing, the problem of color difference and fading of clothes is normal and not a quality problem.

Indigo fading

The fading feature of indigo dye clothing is the embodiment of its naturalness, simplicity and sense of history, and is also a part of indigo dye culture. Although the fading of indigo-dyed clothing is one of its inevitable shortcomings, it is this fading feature that makes indigo-dyed clothing more unique and charming.
